Our Coaches

Ex-racers, freeride veterans, mountain guides — united by a belief that great coaching is quiet, curious and consistent.

Thibaut Descoeudres

the heart and founder of AlpAdventure

Thibaut Descoeudres is the heart and founder of AlpAdventure. Having called Verbier home for over 30 years, he knows every trail, peak, and hidden corner of the Region, and loves nothing more than sharing that passion with others.

A lifelong adventurer, Thibaut is an avid skier, mountain and road biker and paraglider, always seeking the next challenge. Whether he’s with guests through the mountains, taking to the skies on a tandem paragliding flight, or exploring new terrain, his enthusiasm for the outdoors is infectious.

As a key member of the AlpAdventure coaching team, Thibaut works with both children and adults, creating experiences that are fun, inspiring, and appropriately challenging. His coaching philosophy is built on three pillars: confidence, joy, and safety. He believes everyone can achieve more than they think, and he takes pride in helping each participant grow while making unforgettable memories in the mountains.

When he’s not coaching or flying, you’ll often find Thibaut organising mountain races and community events, bringing people together through a shared love of adventure. And if the conditions are right, he’s always ready for a tandem flight—just ask!
